Cartridge Life

- Mar 24, 2018 -

Cartridge life refers to the amount of paper that the printer cartridge can print. The larger the printable paper amount, the longer the life of the toner cartridge. The drum life is determined by the photoconductor drum. For small and medium-sized office users with relatively arduous printing tasks, they should be willing to pay more for the higher monthly printing load (over 10,000 pages) and long-life cartridges (up to 20000 pages)—higher for both indicators. The reliability of the model is generally more prominent, otherwise moving the paper jam and even "bucket", frequent replacement of the cartridge will greatly reduce the printing efficiency, increase maintenance and overall printing costs.

According to the different photosensitive materials, we can currently divide the cartridges into three types: OPC cartridges (organic photoconductive materials), Se cartridges, and ceramic cartridges. In the service life, the OPC cartridge is generally about 3,000 pages, the Se cartridge is 10,000 pages, and the ceramic cartridge is 100,000 pages.
