Network Shared Printing

- Mar 20, 2018 -

On the surface, the difference between network printing and shared printing is one line and several lines. Network printing only requires one network cable, while shared printing requires several wires for several terminals. From a technical point of view, the network printer is no longer just a peripheral device of the PC, but becomes an independent network node. It is directly connected to the network adapter card through the EIO slot, and can achieve high-speed print output at the speed of the network. The shared printing is achieved through a PC server or sharer to achieve a simple network connection, data transmission must still be through the printer's parallel port, so the speed is very low.
