What Is A Toner Cartridge?

- Apr 25, 2018 -

The standard call of the toner cartridge should be the photosensitive drum, and it should be noted that although the selenium cartridge is commonly known as the selenium cartridge, the selenium cartridge is virtually no selenium or only a very small amount of selenium. The reason why it was called "selenium cartridge" was originally used in the production of photosensitive drums when it was just born. The selenium is made into a photosensitive cartridge by adhering on the drum base by steaming. Since 80s, photosensitive cartridge have been made of organic photoconductive materials, which are cheaper and less polluted. But since everyone is used to it, the drum is called "selenium drum". The use of toner cartridges is very extensive. They need to be used in laser printers, photocopiers and fax machines.
