1, There is only 1 reason I use a Brother laser printer. If you search various web sites, there are tricks you can use when the printer tells you it is out of toner. It involves covering up the clear windows on the sides of the cartridge and removing the end cap and resetting the page counter gear. Not hard to do at all. And your reward? You can get a couple hundred more pages out of each cartridge until it really runs dry. When the output starts to look bad, then change the cartridge. With these techniques, I can stretch a standard 1,500 page cartridge to 1,700-2,000 pages without loss of quality.

2, Works great, exc value - have gotten long life by using tricks shown in other reviews or online - don't change just because you get an error message, as long as you are getting good copies, just reset and keep printing. Works just as well.

3, I received these drum unit very quickly after I ordered it and followed the instructions to install the drum. I had my printer up and running with fine print quality, easily and without needing to call Brother for any support. I highly recommend this component.
